ToggleEverything You Need to Know About the AI in Nursing Conference 2026, Mohali
“I know nursing. But what do I know about Artificial Intelligence?”
If that thought just crossed your mind, you’re not alone. Thousands of nursing students and professionals across Punjab are asking the same question quietly, a little nervously, and with good reason. Because AI is no longer a buzzword reserved for tech labs and Silicon Valley boardrooms. It’s already inside hospitals, classrooms, and ICUs. And it’s changing the way nurses learn, work, and care.
The good news? You don’t have to figure it out alone.
On 13 March 2026, Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing, Mohali is hosting its 3rd State-Level One Day Conference, one of the most anticipated nursing events in Punjab themed around “Nursing in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Bridging Education and Clinical Practice.” This is your invitation to step into the future of healthcare.
This isn’t just another academic event. It’s a space built specifically for people like you nursing students trying to understand where their career is headed, clinical nurses navigating a rapidly changing hospital environment, faculty rethinking how they teach, and researchers eager to share their work.
The AI in Nursing Conference 2026 brings together nursing educators, clinicians, researchers, administrators, and students under one roof to explore a single powerful question: How is Artificial Intelligence transforming nursing and how do we prepare for it?
With expert guest speakers, three focused scientific sessions, live paper presentations, and a dynamic panel discussion, this one-day event packs an incredible amount of learning, networking, and inspiration into just a few hours.
Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing, Mohali has been shaping compassionate and competent nurses since 1998. Managed by the Education Society for Health Activities (ESHA) and inspired by the vision of Late Sardar Charanjit Singh Walia, the college is named in honour of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji revered as the Mother of the Khalsa.
Affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, the college offers diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate nursing programmes. Its academic commitment is reflected in the 5 Credit Points awarded by PNRC, Mohali, a meaningful recognition that this conference carries forward.
When an institution with this kind of legacy organises a conference, you pay attention.
The conference features two distinguished guest speakers who bring depth, experience, and real-world insight to the table.
Ms. Neena Vir Singh, Associate Professor at NINE, PGIMER Chandigarh, is one of the most respected voices in nursing education in the region. Her session promises to ground AI concepts in nursing reality not abstract theory.
Mr. Gaurav Kohli, Professor and Principal at Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib College of Nursing, Sohana, brings institutional leadership and academic perspective to the conversation around AI’s integration into nursing training and clinical settings.
These are people who’ve been in the field. They understand what you’re going through and they’re here to help you navigate what’s coming.
The conference runs from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and is structured to keep you engaged from start to finish.
It opens with registration and a pre-test, a quick knowledge check that also helps you see just how much you’ll grow by the end of the day. After a formal inauguration, the scientific sessions begin:
Scientific Session I covers the Foundations and Evolution of AI in Nursing a grounding, beginner-friendly overview.
Scientific Session II dives into AI’s integration in Nursing Education directly relevant to students and faculty alike.
Scientific Session III explores Applications of AI in Clinical Nursing Practice the session clinical nurses have been waiting for.
After lunch, paper presentations run in a parallel session, giving researchers and students a platform to share their work.
The afternoon wraps up with a Panel Discussion on Opportunities and Challenges of AI in Nursing, an open, honest conversation you won’t want to miss followed by a Valedictory Function and Cultural Programme and a closing post-test to measure your learning.
It’s a full day. A fulfilling day.
If you still need convincing that AI belongs in your nursing journey, consider what’s already happening across India and the world.
Google’s AI innovation work in India shows just how transformative this technology is becoming in healthcare.
This is not the future. This is happening right now, in India, in hospitals and communities that look a lot like the ones you work in. AI is already a colleague in healthcare. The question is whether you’ll be equipped to work alongside it.
The AI in Nursing Conference 2026 is where that preparation begins.

Nursing faculty, research scholars, and students are all welcome to submit. Your abstract should be 250–300 words covering your title, objectives, methodology, results, and conclusion.
