    Who can apply? Is it only for girls?+
    Yes. Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing is a girls-only institution. Eligibility depends on the course — generally 10+2 (Medical for B.Sc, any stream for GNM/ANM) with minimum marks as per PNRC / BFUHS norms. Age criteria also apply.
    What is the difference between ANM, GNM and B.Sc Nursing?+
    ANM (2 years) focuses on maternal and child health and community roles.

    GNM (3 years) is a diploma with broader clinical training and faster hospital entry.

    B.Sc Nursing (4 years) is a full degree with the widest scope for higher studies, government jobs and international opportunities.
    How does clinical training work?+
    Students are posted to affiliated government and private hospitals for hands-on training. This includes multi-speciality hospitals in Chandigarh and Mohali, Rajindra Hospital Patiala, civil hospitals, and specialised mental health training. Clinical exposure is an integral part of every programme.
    Is hostel available? Is the campus safe?+
    Yes. Hostel facilities are available on a girls-only campus with security arrangements. Many parents specifically choose MSK for the focused and secure environment. Hostel and mess charges are separate from tuition fees.
    What about placements after the course?+

    Can I get a government job after studying here?+
